Our Story
A Tradition of Excellence
Nestled on a quiet cobblestone lane in the West Village, La Maison began as a simple dream shared between Chef Laurent Dupont and his wife, Camille. What started as a twelve-seat dining room has grown into one of the city's most cherished culinary destinations, yet the spirit remains unchanged: honest cooking, impeccable ingredients, and a reverence for the seasons.
Every dish that leaves our kitchen carries the philosophy that great food is an act of generosity. We source from local farms within a hundred miles, age our own cheeses in cellars beneath the restaurant, and bake our bread before dawn each morning. The menu shifts with the harvest, because we believe nature is the finest author of any recipe.
